Emily + Colin ][ Melbourne Beach Florida Wedding

Emily and Colin were referred to us from a previous couple, from one of our very first weddings ever. We were super excited to photograph their special day. The icing on the cake was the fact that they were hosting their wedding on St. Patrick’s Day! Both families run deep with Irish heritage. This was an exciting opportunity and it turned out AMAZING!

The day of the wedding we had a timeline that included multiple locations. The guys and the girls had morning preparations in different locations about ten minutes from each other. This is when having two photographers can be a huge advantage. The groom and his groomsmen exchanged gifts and had a good time watching sports and taking it easy before the ceremony. The bride and her girls also had gifts and good times as they did hair and makeup and prepared to look their best.

Additionally, as a team we were able to get multiple angles of the ceremony and reception, giving Emily and Colin even more variety to choose their favorite photos. The ceremony was touching and sweet, and took place in a beautiful church with large, glowing, stained glass windows spilling warm light into the room.

The reception was a fun and boisterous party, with lots of drinking, dancing, and happy moments. The bliss of the newly married couple was infectious and it was impossible not to feel the joy that radiated from them. They exited the party late that night in a flurry of beautiful sparkler lights and loving friends and family cheering them on as they began their new life together as Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy.
